Simply create the best Santa letter design you can muster,
and if you get the most votes, you walk away with a cool $1,000 cash for a very special Christmas! Here's how it works:
This can be whatever you want it to be. Get the best clipart, images, drawings, stuff you cut out, scans, photographs, and create a Santa letter that the whole world will see! If you can decorate a Christmas tree, you can create a Santa letter!
Everyone will start with the same template. This is simply one of our Santa letters with the name, text, and signature already filled in without any illustration. All you have to do its design the surrounding areas with whatever strikes your fancy. Here's what it looks like:
You're free to use whatever program you like to create your design. No holds barred, we only ask that you try not to resize the image as it'll still need to look good when it gets printed by tens of thousands of people.
Please do keep in mind that the name and text on the template will need to be replaced if your design wins, so try not to overlap any of those bits with imagery.
After you've created your unique Santa letter, come back to this very same page. Whenever you're ready, just fill out your details, select your Santa letter file and submit it to us.
You must provide a real email address that you use, we will need it to contact you if you win. Don't worry, we don't sell or share your private information with anyone, ever.

We'll have your letter up on the site within 24hrs and quickly, we're sure, you'll start wowing everyone with your unique design and getting lots of votes!
Tell everyone you know to go vote for you! It's important to understand that you cannot spam or annoy people to get a vote. We encourage you to post in the forums you participate in, email your friends and co-workers, but please do not be spamming people, it's rude and no one likes it. Don't be that person.
It's important to remember that voting is done after a letter is sent out. If you remember correctly, there are 3 steps to customizing a Santa letter. After the 3rd step is complete, the person will be sent to the voting page where they'll hopefully be voting for you! If you feel it's necessary to let people know that, then please do!

The competition closes on Thursday, 14th of December 2007 at 11:59PM GMT (6:59PM EST, 3:59PM PST). No votes will be counted past that point.
The winner will be announced on this very page on Friday, 15th of December 2007 at 12:00PM GMT (7:00AM EST, 4:00AM PST).
1. Really go read the terms and conditions. We know a lot of people skip it but please, brush through it at least.
2. Do not spam. Can't say this enough. If we get reports from people that you're spamming, you'll be disqualified and Santa will fly straight past your house and steal all your cookies.
3. Make sure you're linking to the correct URL or else the vote doesn't count.
4. Only one vote per person/IP address! Please don't try to fake votes. We will catch you and you will be disqualified and it will suck to be you.
